The acquisition will provide Yokogawa with a proven portfolio of solutions that are already widely adopted by major power companies across Europe. Yokogawa will provide these solutions to energy asset owners worldwide, as well as provide implementation consulting and after-sales services through its global network.

Power companies operating wind, solar, hydro, geothermal and other types of renewable energy generation facilities need to maximize the output of each asset and maintain it efficiently in order to ensure profitability.

BaxEnergy was founded in 2010 to provide flexible and scalable330102-00-50-02-00 REMS that can be implemented without changes to core IT and business systems. These solutions have the unique ability to integrate the management of a variety of renewable energy generation facilities and analyze data from many different manufacturers of turbines, inverters and other types of power generation equipment to improve power generation efficiency. BaxEnergy’s solutions have been shown to increase plant availability by up to 10%. By integrating data management in a cloud environment, these solutions enable customers to view custom KPIs and alarm information across a variety of devices, including smartphones and tablets, giving them the information they need to make quick decisions that will have a direct impact on revenue and equipment utilization.
