Yu Meimei believes that from the beginning, Zhongcong has focused on providing the market and users with products that can be directly used and bring value, rather than just testing prototypes. Setting international standards
Speaking of some major events in the development process of Zhongcong, Yu Meimei was deeply impressed by EPA, and she believed that Zhongcong’s breakthrough in this key technology was a milestone event in the field of automation in China. Fieldbus and industrial Ethernet are the key measurement and control technologies for the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry and the improvement of industrial information level. Our country began to try to track and develop the world’s advanced fieldbus products from the “ninth Five-Year Plan”. In 2001, the company put forward the solution of real-time communication control system based on industrial Ethernet EPA (Ethernet for Plant Automation), and made the first fieldbus standard of our country with independent intellectual property rights — EPA standard. It has been published as the IEC/PAS 62409 standardization document, becoming the first standard in the field of industrial automation in China to be accepted and published by the international standardization organization so far. After that, the EPA standard became the German national standard, indicating that China’s independent industrial technology standards have gradually obtained the recognition of Western developed countries.
Yu Meimei said that the EPA proposed by China Control to enter the international standard has broken the situation that foreign companies developed international standards for fieldbus and monopolized core technology in the past, and has changed the situation that China can only track research and development on fieldbus technology, completing 3500/53-03-00 the process from 0 to 1.
Leading the transformation of business models
Yu Meimei has mentioned the three stages of intelligent manufacturing development on different occasions, which are digital manufacturing, networked manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing. In 2015, CCC undertook the intelligent manufacturing demonstration project of Shenhuining Coal million-ton olefin, which is the first set of application of domestic control system in million-ton olefin project. At the same time, Zhongcong also applied the new product safety control system to the project, and Yu Meimei served as the review expert of the project. She was deeply impressed by Dr. Yu Haibin, who was in charge of the project report, “From Dr. Yu Haibin, I saw the serious, meticulous, professional and excellent working attitude of all the people in the central control.” Yu Meimei said that today, Zhongcong still leads the development of the industry and continues to create new value for the industry in the field of intelligent manufacturing.
