369-HI-0-B-0-0-0-0-0 Glenn Smith, president and CEO of Moze Electronics, joined the company as a junior in 1973, when Moze was a start-up electronics company near San Diego with just 12 employees. After 50 years of hard work, Smith became the president and CEO of MAO Ze, and MAO Ze has grown into the world’s top ten component dealer giant, with more than 650,000 customers, and representing more than 1,200 manufacturer partners in semiconductor and electronic components products.
Smith attributes Moze’s success to the hard work of the entire team and their dedication to serving customers. He said, “I would like to express my gratitude to all of our employees, whether they are current employees or former employees. Without everyone’s sincere cooperation, we would not have today, which is the key to the company’s long-term success. Together, we have achieved a great deal, but there is still a long way to go, and we need to keep the same spirit, work hard, and use everyone’s talents to help the company thrive.”

In the long development course of Maoze Electronics, there are many milestone events. In 1973, Glenn Smith, a junior, was working part time at the Mouze warehouse, one of only 12 employees at the company. In 1986, the company moved from California to Texas, located near the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, which greatly increased the company’s distribution capacity. In 2000, Mouze was acquired by TTI Inc., based in Fort Worth. In 2004, Smith was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Moze. In 2007, Mouze and TTI was acquired by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, Inc.
Mouze has 28 customer support centers around the world, with its core hub being a 100-acre gl369-HI-0-B-0-0-0-0-0 obal headquarters and distribution center in Mansfield, Texas. Over the decades, Mouze has been recognized for its innovation, leadership and contributions to industry, community and sales achievements, winning numerous awards. In 2012, Moze received the Tarrant County Employer of Excellence Award in recognition of its significant contribution to the economic prosperity and community development of the North Texas region. In 2019, Smith was named the “Best Public Company CEO” by the Fort Worth Business Press. In addition, Mouze won the 2014 Large Enterprise Award and the 2021 Best Workplace Award. In 2022, Mouze won more than 30 excellent agent awards from manufacturer partners.
