After 50 years of hard work, Smith became the president and CEO of MAO Ze, and MAO Ze has grown into the world’s top ten component dealer giant, with more than 650,000 customers, and representing more than 1,200 manufacturer partners in semiconductor and electronic components products.
Smith attributes Moze’s success to the hard work of the entire team and their dedication to serving customers. Without everyone’s sincere cooperation, we would not have today, which is the key to the company’s long-term success. In the long development course of Maoze Electronics, there are many milestone events. In 1973, Glenn Smith, a junior, was working part time at the Mouze warehouse, one of only 12 employees at the company. In 1986, the company moved from California to Texas, located near the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, which greatly increased the company’s distribution capacity. In 2000, Mouze was acquired by TTI Inc., based in Fort Worth. In 2004, Smith was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Moze. In 2007, Mouze and TTI was acquired by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, Inc.
