F8651X

The F8651X is mainly responsible for interpreting computer & instructions and processing data in computer software.
Control Unit: This is the command and control center of the entire CPUQ, consisting of the instruction register (IR), instruction decoder (ID), and operation controller (OC).
The F8651X control unit takes out the instructions from the memory according to the pre-programmed program of the user, determines the operation through the instruction decoding, and then sends out the micro-operation control signal to the corresponding component according to the determined time sequence through the operation controller.
Arithmetic unit: This is the core of the arithmetic unit and is responsible for performing arithmetic operations (including basic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and their additional operations) and logical operations (including shifting, logic testing, or comparing two values).
The operation unit accepts the command of the control unit for action, that is, its operation is all directed by the control signal issued by the control unit.
Storage unit: includes the on-chip cache and register group of the CPU. It is the place where data is temporarily stored in the CPU.
The memory unit holds the data waiting to be processed or has already been processed, and the CPU spends less time accessing registers than it does accessing memory.
