The 2301E provides load distribution and speed control for generators powered by diesel or gas engines. With the built-in flexible configuration software, application variants can now be selected using an external computer (PC). Changing the application to fit the engine speed range, gear teeth, and the choice of forward or reverse action is just a software setup.

The 2301E controller is backward compatible with existing 2301D products as it has the same size and mounting configuration. The new controller ensures the continuous availability of a proven and versatile product with enhanced features:
– Separate RS-232 and RS-422 serial ports, both with 9-pin connectors
– Additional status LED for power and RS-422 communication
– Fault data logging feature collects 16 seconds of shutdown event, peak speed and load detection data every 10 milliseconds

– New terminals can accommodate additional I/O, and most terminals are located in the same location as the 2301D model.
