When a conductor passes through a magnetic field, the magnetic field lines (magnetic flux) are cut off. A voltage is induced between the two ends of a conductor. If a conductor is connected to a closed circuit, current will flow.
The voltage induced in a conductor is determined by the number of flux cutting lines and the time of cutting lines. The velocity conductor passes through a magnetic field, the strength of which determines the output voltage.
