The 8440-2088 is a controller in the easYgen-3000 series produced by Woodward Inc., also known as the easYgen-3500XT-P2 model.

The controller is encased in plastic with closed soft keys and an LCD display that displays the mode of operation

and any alarm levels that occur while the controller is running. It is suitable for a variety of industrial applications, including power generation control, with a variety of functions and features:

In terms of technical specifications, the controller has an analog input resolution of 11 bits, is capable of measuring frequencies of 50/60 Hz (40-85 Hz),

and is suitable for alternator windings of 3p-3w, 3p-4w, 1p-2w, 1p-3w, and the operating temperature range is -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.

The P2 series models offer a number of different improvements over the P1 series, such as 3-ph bus voltage measurement capabilities, interface expansion

card slots that support additional interfaces/protocols, and extensible on-board I/O kits. In addition, the 8440-2088 models come with some newer

features such as direct connection up to 690 Vac, multi-interface kit connection and plug-in replacement.
