IC200UEX636 onsemi (NASDAQ: ON), a leader in smart power and intelligent perception technologies, will present its latest sustainable power innovations at PCIM Europe, the leading power electronics exhibition and conference, May 9-11, 2023 in Nuremberg, Germany.
The theme of this year’s PCIM Europe is Excelling in Power Electronics, and On will focus on three key areas during the show, with five demonstration areas, a display case and a dedicated power wall:
Enabling Green Energy Solutions: On is paving the way for sustainable energy infrastructure solutions. The on-site power wall will showcase how residences and small and medium businesses can build an energy island with On products, and will highlight electric vehicle solutions (high-power DC and AC via on-board charging).
EliteSiC Ecosystem: With its vertically integrated EliteSiC ecosystem, On Semiconductor has full control of its own silicon carbide (SiC) manufacturing supply chain, from the basic raw materials to the delivery of fully packaged SiC devices, which is essential for efficient electric vehicles (EVs) and an important step towards decarbonization.
Driving the Industrial Revolution: ON provides reliable, intelligent and energy efficient technologies for fully automated chemical industry manufacturing applications. This includes smart sensing for robotics, scanning and inspection, as well as a broad portfolio of smart power supplies covering all voltages and technologies.IC200UEX636
In automotive and industrial systems, On’s Power wall will showcase green energy solutions, highlighting smart power solutions from 65W to 11kW and showcasing ON’s ability to provide comprehensive solutions for power applications. On will also exhibit Ultra-High Density (UHD) designs for power supply design in the most critical, high-performance and space-constrained scenarios.
In addition, On’s booth will feature the following interactive demonstrations:
Ac electric Vehicle chargers: Highlights of how EliteSiC technology can be used to produce efficient charging solutions for AC power grids.
25kW DC Charger Evaluation Kit: Demonstration will show how On’s EliteSiC technology can be used to achieve maximum energy efficiency with its smart power portfolio products.
Bidirectional EV charging: The demonstration will show how on-board chargers (OBCs) can feed power back into the grid to help stabilize grid usage scenarios during peak demand periods.
FS7 IGBT: Showcases the highest current IGBT (160A / 1200V) currently leading the market in the TO247 package.
T10 Motor Control: Visitors can get a closer look at the technical benefits of ON’s new MOSFET.
During the show, ON Beauty experts will also speak on several important industry topics, including:
