IMDSI22 A total of 48 teams and 183 students from 13 universities across the country participated in the contest. In the process of the competition, the judges evaluated and scored the contestants’ works from multiple dimensions, such as the relevance of the design, the integrity of the project, the feasibility of the scheme and the creativity of the topic. Through fierce competition, 10 teams from East China University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, North China Electric Power University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Xi ‘an University of Technology, Xi ‘an Shiyou University and Wuxi University were selected for the final and participated in the final defense. Through the on-site demonstration and defense, it fully demonstrated the innovative vitality and professional quality of contemporary college students combining theory with practice.
At present, as a new industry, there are still many problems in the large-scale application of hydrogen energy. Based on its own years of experience in the field of automation and intelligence, Emerson jointly organized this competition with well-known domestic universities and research institutions and well-known enterprises in the industry. The topics of the competition focus on new energy power generation scenarios, green hydrogen ammonia production projects and hydrogen refueling station scenarios, jointly explore key technical problems in the industry, deeply integrate cutting-edge technologies with industry topics, and inject new momentum into the development of the whole hydrogen energy industry chain.

After half a year of preparation, the contestants gave full play to their wisdom and teamwork spirit to show their exploration achievements in the field of hydrogen energy. After the fierce competition of the preliminary and final, the first, second and third prizes and excellent awards of this competition were selected.

The expert judges strictly evaluated and scored the contestants’ works from multiple dimensions such as model accuracy, innovation and practical application scenarios, and participated in the on-site defense. In the end, the hydrogen energy porter team from the School of Information Science and Engineering of East China University of Science and Technology stood out and won the first prize, 5 groups of players won the second and third prizes, and 4 groups of teams won the excellence award.
Winning teams will also have the opportunity to participate in training exchanges, plant visits and other marketing activities organized by Emerson China and its co-organizers.
