As a world-renowned supplier of electrical connectivity and automation technology, Wanke, after years of development, how to ensure sustainable logistics and a high level of delivery services to cope with the growing market demand. By the end of 2022, the Group plans to invest in a modern automated elevated warehouse to provide logistics and freight support not only for Germany, but also for subsidiaries in 80 other countries.
As of now, the expansion project is nearing completion, with an investment of more than 50 million euros, of which 25 million euros is intended for logistics technology and software. This investment ensures a high level of delivery capacity for Wanko, and once the new logistics center is completed, it will be able to handle up to 12,000 orders per day to meet the needs of future customers, future-proof.

As with all Vanco’s new building projects, the new logistics center places a strong eJINT-G1C 3AUA0000044467 mphasis on energy efficiency and resource conservation, with an increased focus on the digital and automated transformation of logistics facilities and operations, including sustainable construction, insulation and efficient energy supply at the beginning of the project.
