To use Ethernet TCP/IP and serial (RS232/RS422/RS485)
Communication functions are integrated with process control and other automation systems. It also allows Ethernet communication with 3500 rack configuration software and data acquisition software
The Ethernet connection to 3500/92 is an RJ45 connection for a 10BASE-T star configuration Ethernet network.
The 3500/92 supports the communication interface, communication protocol, and other features of the original 3500/90, with the exception of the main value Modbus register. 3500/92 now has a configurable Modbus register utility
It can provide the same functionality that was originally addressed by the Modbus register primary value.
