The 1756-DMD30 is a ControlLogix family of drive modules manufactured by Allen-Bradley (now part of Rockwell Automation).
This module is single-slot and is designed to interface with Reliance Electric Distributed Power System (DPS) equipment to perform external torque,
position and speed control. It is compatible with the SD3000 6 Pulse DPS device system (S6 DC driver and S6R rotary transformer)
and the SD3000 12 pulse device system (S12 DC driver and S12R rotary transformer).

The 1756-DMD30 is a ControlLogix family of drive modules manufactured by Allen-Bradley (now part of Rockwell Automation).
This module is single-slot and is designed to interface with Reliance Electric Distributed Power System (DPS) equipment to perform external torque,
position and speed control. It is compatible with the SD3000 6 Pulse DPS device system (S6 DC driver and S6R rotary transformer) and the SD3000 12 pulse device system (S12 DC driver and S12R rotary transformer).

Power required: 3 mA at 24 volts DC, 1.35 amps at 5.1 volts DC
Peak power consumption: 6.96 watts
Heat dissipation: 23.7 BTU per hour
Operating temperature range: 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit
Storage temperature range: -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit
Mean time to failure (MTBF) : 1.7 million hours
The 1756-DMD30 module is installed in the ControlLogix chassis, communicates with the SynchLink node through a fiber optic network,
and is connected to the PMI chassis through a fiber optic cable. Green and red indicators are provided on the module for diagnostics, status, and operational updates.
