The 3300/16 is a dual vibration monitor developed by Bently Nevada. It continuously detects and monitors two independent radial vibration channels and the mean axis position (clearance) through the input of two proximity probes/proximity systems. The monitor is designed to replace the 3300/15 dual radial vibration monitor, which has no radial position gap alarm.

The power supply can be programmed to -24 Vdc or -18 Vdc, with current limits on a single monitor board.
User programmable frequency response: 4 to 4,000 Hz (240 to 240,000 cpm) or 1 to 600 Hz (60 to 36,000 cpm); -3 dB
Frequency ranges from 1 to 600 Hz (60 to 36,000 CPM) are not recommended for machine applications that require fast start and glide down rates and acceleration/deceleration rates exceeding 1000 rpm/s.
Since the low frequency range is extended to 60 CPM (e.g. with a motor drive device), the monitoring circuit will retain the vibration transients normally observed during fast starts.

This allows vibration levels above the alarm set value to be maintained after an alarm time delay.
Even if the actual vibration has been reduced below the hazard alarm set point level, this can cause the hazard relay to trigger after the internal time delay.
If the traditional 4 Hz (240 CPM) low frequency limit is not enough for your application, contact your sales representative.
For applications with shaft speeds below 1,000 rpm, the 1 Hz (60 CPM) option is recommended.
3300/16 Recorder output
Users can program between +4 to +20 mA, 0 to -10 Vdc, or +1 to +5 Vdc. The voltage or current output is proportional to the full scale of the programmed monitor. For each channel, a separate recorder output is provided. The short circuit of recorder output has no effect on monitor operation.

Output impedance (voltage output) : 100 Minimum load resistance is 10k.
Voltage compliance (current output) : 0 to +12 Vdc over the entire load range. When using the +4 to +20 mA option, the load resistance is 0 to 600.
Accuracy of the recorder at +25°C (+77°F) (in addition to signal conditioning accuracy) :
+4 to +20 mA: 0.7% of the signal, 0.09 mA offset
+1 to +5 Vdc: 1.1% of the signal with an offset of 10 mV.
0 to -10 Vdc: 1.1% of the signal, 15 mV offset
