The integrated protection and control system is part of the General Electric Multilin 369 series and is suitable for medium-size AC motors. By using waveform capture, event reporting, data logging, and built-in optional metering functions (included in this model), the 369-HI-R-M-0-0-0 reduces maintenance costs and reduces the time spent troubleshooting. The data generated by the relay can be easily viewed on the relay’s 40-character LCD display or on a computer running the GE EnerVista 369 software program. EnerVista can also trend this data for more effective analysis.

The 369-HI-R-M-0-0-0 protection system features, such as short circuit trip, limit damage to motor components by detecting excessive amplitude and generating an appropriate response. If the amplitude is higher than the Phase CT Primary x Pickup level for a specified period of time, a trip will occur. The amount of time can be adjusted in 10 ms increments and configured through the relay’s setpoint system. If the short circuit time delay is too sensitive, unexpected tripping can occur during motor startup, but users can use the data generated by the system to fine-tune these Settings to find a suitable compromise.

The 369-HI-R-M-0-0-0 is approximately 11.5 inches tall, 8.5 inches wide, and 5.5 inches deep. The mounting opening of the relay can be slightly smaller (11 “H, 7” W) because the size of the relay is reduced backwards and the front panel is the largest part of the device. An enhanced panel option is also available, with the model number ending in “E” on the 369 series page of AX Control.
