The 5SHY3545L0010 thyristor is a high-power semiconductor device with a four-layer structure of three PN junctions, usually consisting of two

reverse-connected thyristors. Its main functions include controlled rectification, as a contactless switch to quickly switch on or off the circuit,

to achieve DC inverter alternating current and so on. Thyristor has the advantages of small size, high efficiency, good stability and reliable operation,

and is widely used in industry, agriculture, transportation, military scientific research and commercial and civil electrical appliances.

The working principle of the 5SHY3545L0010 thyristor is based on the controllable conductivity characteristics of the semiconductor. When a forward

voltage is applied between the anode and cathode, the thyristor does not conduct because the P-N junction is reverse-biased. However, once a positive

pulse voltage is applied to the gate, carrier injection in the PN junction region will occur, resulting in PN junction reverse breakdown, making the thyristor

enter the on-state. After switching on, the thyristor will continue to switch on until the current is reduced to maintain the current level or the current direction changes.

Thyristors can be classified according to turn-off, turn-on and control mode, pin and polarity, package form, current capacity and turn-off speed.

For example, according to the turn-off, turn-on and control mode, it can be divided into ordinary thyristor, bidirectional thyristor, reverse conduction thyristor,

gate turn-off thyristor (GTO), BTG thyristor, temperature controlled thyristor

and optical controlled thyristor. According to the pin and polarity can be divided into two pole thyristor, three pole thyristor and four pole thyristor. According to
