Type 8516-051 is an actuator used for speed control of a range of engines. It is manufactured by Woodward and is part of the electric governor family. For a complete EPG system, actuators, speed control, and magnetic pickups are required. The product weighs less than two pounds and is compatible with both gas and diesel engines. However, it may not be compatible with every type of engine speed system. The Model 8256-009 actuator can be used and stored in a temperature range of -40 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, and the corrosion-resistant material makes it a durable product. However, overheating of these models is not recommended.
