The C300 controller is a node in Honeywell’s field-proven Deterministic Control Execution Environment (CEE) core software. CEE software provides a superior control execution and scheduling environment. The control strategy for each controller node is configured and loaded through a common control generator, a simple and intuitive engineering tool.

The C300 controller shares its hardware design with the 8 Series I/O, offering an innovative design that reduces footprint as well as installation and maintenance costs. The C300 controller module is installed on the C300 Input/Output Terminal Assembly (IOTA). The C300 IOTA contains only passive devices, such as FTE address switches.
