The Bentley Nevada 9200/74712 series velocity seismic detectors are designed to measure absolute bearing, casing, or structural vibration. The two-wire system consists of a transmitter, appropriate cable, and an optional speed shift converter.

The Bentky 9200 is a two-wire sensor suitable for continuous monitoring or for use in periodic measurements with test or fault diagnosis instruments. The 9200 has excellent corrosion resistance and does not require additional protection. Bentley Nevada speed sensor systems measure the absolute (relative to free space) vibration of a bearing box, housing, or structure. The two-wire system consists of sensors, cables, and an optional speed-to-displacement converter. The bently9200 series speed sensor is a two-wire structure that uses moving coil technology to provide a voltage output directly proportional to the vibration speed of the sensor. Unlike solid speed sensors, moving wire sensors are less sensitive to shock or pulse excitation, making them a better choice for applications.
