STATCOM for Wind Farm to meet Grid Code reguirements.The ABB PCS6000 inverter meets all requirements related to technical design, efficiency, reliability, protection, and safety. The certification process involves a detailed evaluation of the PCS6000 test results, including functional testing, thermal operation testing, vibration testing, humidity and temperature testing, EMC testing, and protection testing.

PCS6000 is the first medium voltage wind power converter to obtain CGC certification. In addition to CGC, PCS6000 has also passed the DNV-GL GL-IV-2:2012 product certification.

 

 

STATCOM:
The STATCOM (STATic COMpensator) technology adds themissing functionality to wind parks in order to become gridcode compliant. Voltage level: The rated voltage of the inverter is 3.3 kV and 4.16 kV, with a generator side voltage range of 0 to 4.3 kV and a grid side voltage range of 0 to 4.3 kV
