The C65N 3P D63 is a small circuit breaker that belongs to Schneider’s C65N/H/L-DC family. Designed for overload and short circuit protection of three-phase AC circuits, this circuit breaker is suitable for residential, commercial and industrial applications. “3P” indicates that the circuit breaker is three-pole, while “D63” may refer to its trip current rating of 63A. This type of circuit breaker usually has a high breaking capacity, which ensures that the circuit is quickly cut off in the event of a short circuit, thus providing high safety.

C65N series mini circuit breakers usually have the following characteristics:
Suitable for AC 50/60Hz rated voltage 230/400V lines.
Rated current up to 63A, with type C (6kA) limiting breaking capacity.
It can be used as the infrequent operation conversion of the line.
Comply with GB10963.1, IEC60898 and other standards.

The characteristics of the circuit breaker are: rated voltage Ue; Rated current In; Trip current setting range for overload protection (Ir or Irth) and short circuit protection (Im); Rated short-circuit breaking current (industrial circuit breaker Icu; Home circuit breaker Icn), etc.
Rated Operating voltage (Ue) : This is the voltage at which the circuit breaker will operate under normal (uninterrupted) conditions.
Rated current (In) : This is the maximum current value that a circuit breaker equipped with a special overcurrent trip relay can withstand indefinitely at the ambient temperature specified by the manufacturer, and will not exceed the temperature limit specified by the current bearing part.
Short-circuit relay trip current setting (Im) : The short-circuit trip relay (instantaneous or short delay) is used to make the circuit breaker trip quickly when a high fault current value occurs, and its trip limit Im.
Rated Short Circuit Breaking Capacity (Icu or Icn) : The rated short circuit breaking current of the circuit breaker is the maximum (expected) current that the circuit breaker can break without being damaged. The current value provided in the standard is the root mean square value of the AC component of the fault current, and the DC transient component (which always occurs in the worst case of short circuit) is assumed to be zero when calculating the standard value. Industrial circuit breaker ratings (Icu) and domestic circuit breaker ratings (Icn) are usually given in the form of kA root mean square values.
Short-circuit breaking capacity (Ics) : The rated breaking capacity of the circuit breaker is divided into rated limit short-circuit breaking capacity and rated operating short-circuit breaking capacity. The national standard “Low-voltage Switchgear and control equipment Low-voltage circuit breaker” (GB14048.2-94) explains the rated limit short-circuit breaking capacity and rated operating short-circuit breaking capacity of the circuit breaker as follows:
1, the rated limit short-circuit breaking capacity of the circuit breaker: according to the conditions specified in the prescribed experimental procedures, excluding the breaking capacity of the circuit breaker to continue to carry its rated current capacity;
2, the rated operating short-circuit breaking capacity of the circuit breaker: according to the conditions specified in the specified experimental procedures, including the breaking capacity of the circuit breaker to continue to carry its rated current capacity;
3. The test procedure for rated limit short-circuit breaking capacity is O-T-CO.
