The FBM212 is an input interface module with the following features and functions:

16-channel analog input: The FBM212 has 16 analog input channels of 0~20mA, each channel can input a two-wire analog such as 4~20mA, or as a 20mA self-powered power supply. Each channel is isolated from other channels and ground.

Signal conversion: This module can convert the signal of the field instrument into a redundant fieldbus signal.

Design Features: The FBM212 has a compact design and a robust pressed aluminum housing that protects electronic circuits from physical damage. The special design of its housing allows it to adapt to a variety of different environmental requirements, the highest environmental grade is ISA standard S71.04.

Communication function: The FBM212 accepts communication from any path (A or B) on the redundant Ethernet fieldbus and communicates with its associated FCM or FCP via the redundant 2 Mbps module fieldbus.

Isolated independent channels: The 16 channels of the FBM212 are isolated and independent, ensuring the stability and reliability of signal transmission.

Current Limit: The current limit for each channel is 33mA, and the input voltage range is 24 volts DC +5%, -10%.

Power consumption and size: Power consumption is up to 7 watts (or 11 watts, depending on whether all inputs are 20.4 mA internal power supply) when powered by 24 volts DC. The dimensions of the module (including mounting lugs) are approximately 10.2 cm (H)x 11.4 cm (W)x 4.5 cm (D)x 10.4 cm (L) and the shipping weight is 2 kg.
