The IC660MCA512 adapter module is a power adapter module for GE handheld displays. It is powered by a 230 volt AC supply.
It is fully compatible with GE series 90-30 PLC systems. There are 4 leds on the front of the power adapter.
When the PWR LED lights up green, it means that all power flowing into and out of the adapter is working properly.
If the PWR LED is off, you need to install an external battery and replace the adapter.
A green “OK LED” indicates that the CPU is running.
A “battery LED” is also included, which should remain off during normal operation. When the “battery LED” lights up red, it means that the battery needs to be replaced.
The IC660MCA512 adapter module is equipped with an RS-485 port for communication.
The adapter module’s handheld monitor allows the operator to monitor I/O and communication status.
