The C660MLA020 is a Genius I/O module. The module is a combined analog I/O module with four (4) analog input channels accommodating 0-10 VDC, 10 VDC, 5 VDC, 0-5 VDC, 4-20 mA (or 1-5 VDC) input signals and two (2) analog output channels. Supports 0-10 VDC, 10 VDC, 5 VDC, 0-5 VDC, and 4-20 mA (or 1-5 VDC). It has an integrated converter circuit with a converter resolution of 12 bit resolution plus symbol.
The module is independently powered with input voltage of 18-56 VDC and nominal power supply of 24 VDC. It has embedded support for the Genius Bus protocol, allowing the module to exchange I/O data with the Genius Bus master station over the network. Each channel has an update rate of every 4 milliseconds with software-adjustable filter responses of 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 and 1024 milliseconds, respectively.
The input filter is used to stabilize the received input signal, limiting fluctuations and more usable readings. It also has a self-diagnostic function, capable of detecting underrange, overrange, high alarm and low alarm. It also has a configurable open output setting that allows the signal to go into underrange and overrange at the time of detection. The typical accuracy of IC660MLA020 is 0.2% of full scale, up to 0.5% of full scale.
The IC660MLA020 has an open housing design and therefore must be installed in the housing. The environment must be clean, free of air pollutants, and provide proper airflow.
