The GE Fanuc IC695CPU315 CPU is an RX3i PacSystems 1.0 GHz Celeron M CPU with 20 MB of user memory. Accessories that can be ordered with the CPU include the IC695ACC302 intelligent auxiliary battery, the IC693ACC302 ordinary auxiliary battery, and the IC690RBT001 rechargeable battery. Only GEIP-approved auxiliary battery packs can be used with CPU modules. In addition to battery-backed RAM, the module also includes 20 MB of NVRAM. The IC695CPU315 CPU reserves 32 KB of memory for discrete I/ OS and 32 KB of memory for analog I/ OS. The IC695CPU315 CPU supports a maximum of 512 program blocks, each 128 KB in size. The CPU module supports high-speed serial and RX3i PCU bus. The IC695CPU315 CPU complies with version 2.2 of the PCI standard.
​Two integrated serial ports are provided on the IC695CPU315 CPU module. One port supports RS-232 communication and the other supports RS-485 communication. Three serial protocols are supported, including serial I/O, Modbus RTU slave, and SNP. The nominal current consumption of the module is 1.2 amps at 5 volts DC and 1 amp at 3.3 volts DC. Operating temperature range is 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The internal clock has a rated peak shift of 2 seconds per day. The maximum internal timing accuracy is 0.01%. The IC695CPU315 CPU supports automatically positioned symbolic variables that are allowed to use any amount of user memory. The IC695CPU315 CPU supports most GE series 90-30 modules and expansion racks. CPU firmware can be upgraded onsite. The IC695CPU315 CPU complies with the EU RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and related exemptions. The application of IC695CPU315 CPU includes real-time control of application processes and machines.
