TMR functions and Output operations: In triple modular redundancy (TMR) applications, the input signal is distributed or fanned out by three connectors specified for R, S, and T controls. The transmitter has an input range of 1-5 V DC, derived from the 4-20 mA current input range. The installation process of the Analog Input Terminal Board (TBAI) consists of connecting 10 inputs and 2 outputs directly to the two I/O terminals mounted on the board. Each module is secured with two screws and has 24 terminals capable of holding wires up to #12 AWG. There is a designated shield terminal connection point next to each terminal, which is essential to properly shield and minimize interference during operation.
TBAI is designed to support various types of analog inputs and outputs, providing compatibility with different transmitter configurations and voltage specifications. This includes transmitters that support two-wire, three-wire, four-wire and externally powered systems, as well as voltage inputs with a span of ±5 V or ±10 V DC.
