The board comes with a comprehensive software development kit that includes a C compiler, an assembler, and a debugger.

Description
The 12/24 VDC, 0.5A positive logic output module for the 90-30 series programmable logic controllers offers 32 discrete outputs. The outputs are arranged in four isolated groups of eight each (A1-A8, B1-B8, C1-C8, and D1-D8); Each group has something in common. The outputs are positive logic or source type outputs because they switch the load on the positive side of the power supply, thus providing current to the load.

The output can switch user loads in the range of +12 to +24 VDC (+20%, -15%) and is capable of delivering a maximum current of 0.5 amps per point. Two pins are provided for each set of common pins on the user I/O connector. The current handling capacity of each pin is 3 amps. It is recommended to connect the two pins when the connection is common; However, this is a requirement for high current applications (between 3 and 4 amps).

Each group can be used to drive a different load. For example, groups A, B, and C can drive 24VDC loads, while group D can be reserved for driving 12 VDC loads. The power supply that provides current to the load must be provided by the user. The module also draws minimal power from the user’s power supply to provide a gate drive for the output device.
