The IS200TRPGH1B is a master trip terminal board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VI family used in gas turbine control systems. The I/O controller regulates the TRPG terminal board. The three voting circuits in the TRPG have nine magnetic relays that are connected to three trip solenoids or electrical trip devices (ETDs). The primary and emergency sides of the ETD interface are formed by TRPG and TREG working together. For gas turbine applications, the TRPG also accepts inputs from eight Geiger-Mueller flame detectors. There are two board types, as shown below:

IS200TRPGH1BDE

The IS200TRPGH1B is a master trip terminal board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VI family used in gas turbine control systems. The I/O controller regulates the TRPG terminal board. The three voting circuits in the TRPG have nine magnetic relays that are connected to three trip solenoids or electrical trip devices (ETDs). The primary and emergency sides of the ETD interface are formed by TRPG and TREG working together. For gas turbine applications, the TRPG also accepts inputs from eight Geiger-Mueller flame detectors. There are two board types, as shown below:

The H1A and H1B versions include three voting relays built into each trip solenoid for TMR applications.

For simplex applications, the H2A and H2B versions have one relay per trip solenoid valve.

MARK VI System:

The VTUR board connects to the TRPG terminal board in the Mark VI system. The TRPG is connected to the VME rack housing the VTUR board via a cable with a molded plug. Systems that use both simplex and TMR are supported.

MARK VIe System:

PTUR is packaged in the Mark VIe system and TTURH1C controls TRPG. The Type D connector on the TTURH1C connected to the TRPG accepts I/O packets as input. Systems that use both simplex and TMR are supported. The controller transmits the main overspeed trip, which is then transmitted to the I/O packet or board, and finally to the TRPG terminal board. The TRPG operates with the TREG board, which is managed by the VPRO Emergency Overspeed system. The TRPG/TREG combination can drive three ETDs.

Diagnosis:

TRPG diagnostics are run by the I/O board. This includes feedback from tripping electromagnetic relay drivers and contacts, the electromagnetic power bus, and the fire detector for too low or too high excitation voltage. If any signal becomes abnormal, a diagnostic warning is generated (out of limit). The connectors JR1, JS1, and JT1 of the patch board each have their own ID devices. The I/O board queries these devices. If a difference is found, a hardware incompatibility fault is generated. The terminal board serial number, board type, revision number, and plug position are encoded on the read-only ID device chip.
