Product description
The main function of the IS215ACLEH1A is as a microprocessor-based controller. This model is part of a series of application control layer modules in the EX2100 series produced by GE Industrial Systems. The board is the first ACLE module with a PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) controller and two Ethernet ports.

Functional characteristics
Modular design:
The IS215ACLEH1A is a single-socket CPU module with one CPU substrate and seven expansion and/or remote substrates, providing a high degree of flexibility and scalability.
Multiple applications:
Suitable for CNC machinery, metallurgy, petroleum and natural gas, petrochemical, chemical, paper printing, textile printing and dyeing, machinery, electronic manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, tobacco, plastic machinery, electric power, water conservancy, water treatment/environmental protection, municipal engineering, boiler heating, energy, transmission and distribution and other industries.
Advanced Features:
Advanced features such as shift register, override, battery backup clock, PCM/CCM compatibility, periodic subroutine interrupt function, floating point math, RAM and flash storage are supported.

When installing the IS215ACLEH1A model, it will be installed in the Innovation series drive or the EX2100 control frame. The board has several leds, namely Active, OK, ENET, Status and Flash indicators, each with a different function, for example, the Active LED will be completely stable when the CPU (central processing unit) accesses the memory components. One of the software features of the IS215ACLEH1A model is the basic input/Output System (BIOS), which will initialize and recognize other hardware forms. The BIOS function supports serial loading of the operating system.
