The IS220PPROH1A is an I/O module for turbines. It is designed to provide a direct interface to specific turbine site equipment. This setup eliminates or reduces much of the instrumentation previously required to connect to field equipment, and also improves operational reliability and reduces long-term maintenance. The IS220PPROH1A is usually used in conjunction with the TREAH_A terminal board for emergency trip applications in aviation reform turbines. The component can be connected to a screen or box terminal. The IS220PPROH1A has field wiring limits for voltage detection, limiting cable length to 1,000 feet of 18 AWG wiring. Note that switching from BPPB P-Pack to BPPC P-Pack does not automatically reconfigure the IS220PPROH1A.

The IS220PPROH1A features a front panel marked with a component ID number and multiple LED indicators. They are placed in pairs on the front panel. The first pair is labeled PWR/ATTN, the second pair is labeled LINK/TxRx and ENET 1, and the third pair is labeled LINK/TxRx and ENET2. The last component is located at the bottom of the panel; This is labeled as an IR port.

The IS220PPROH1A accepts three speed signals. This includes deceleration, acceleration and speeding. The component also has hardware for overspeed implementation. The kit monitors the status and operation of the selected trip board through a comprehensive set of feedback signals. The suite supports TMR and simplex backup protection.

IS220PPROH1A

The PPROH1A is equipped with a BPPB processor board.
The PPROS1B includes a functionally-compatible BPPC processor board that is compatible with the ControlST software suite V04.07 and later.
Simplex master control
Mark VIe control jump gate TRES supports simplex backup protection.
The controller IONet has a PPRO network port.
All Mark VIe control backup jump RAMS (TREG, TREL, TREA and TRES) have TMR backup protection. In this setup, each I/O packet is connected to a different (R, S, T) controller network.
Triple master control
When using the TMR master, backup protection is supported (two-thirds are running). All Mark VIe control backup trip plates (TREG, TREL, TREA, and TRES) support this setting. In a standard network configuration, the first PPRO I/O packet is connected to the R network, the second PPRO is connected to the S network, and the third PPRO is connected to the T network.
