In addition to general purpose I/O, the Mark VI features a number of boards specifically designed to communicate directly with specific sensors and actuators. In many cases, this minimizes or eliminates a large number of inserted instruments.

The IS200STAIS2A is a printed circuit board or PCB assembly from General Electric or GE’s Mark VI (MKVI) series. This model is identified by General Electric as the Mark VI Analog I/O group terminal board.
This model will be used in conjunction with the IS220YAICS1A Mark VI Secure analog I/O package. This model is commonly referred to as the European box terminal.
IS200STAIS2A terminals contain up to forty-eight (48) small silver terminals made of metal.
Each terminal is identified by a number written in white font. The long connector port is placed on the other end of the IS200STAIS2A. The ports are black, and many small female connectors are mounted on silver metal.
Various electronic components are arranged vertically in the center of the IS200STAIS2A. Among these elements are ten black potentiometers or variable resistors. Next to each potentiometer is a small, semi-circular black transistor.
Four (4) additional potentiometers are grouped in the lower right corner of IS200STAIS2A.
Twenty (20) of them are also black jumpers. Each jumper is connected to a pair of jumper pins made of silver metal, thus changing the function of the board. Several small yellow capacitors are placed in the right half of IS200STAIS2A.
These yellow capacitors are shaped like very small rectangles. Some integrated circuits can also be seen in various parts of the IS200STAIS2A. These integrated circuits are small and contain tiny networks of components.
