The center to center screw spacing is 9.53 mm (0.375 in). T-modules are usually mounted on a base and can accommodate multiple I/O packages. The box terminals on the Model S module can accept one 2.05 mm2 (0.081 in2) #12 AWG wire or two 1.63 mm2 (0.064 in2) #14 AWG wires with 300 V insulation at each point. Center to center screw spacing is 5.08 mm (0.2 in). Model S modules are DIN rail and base mounted with a single I/O package.

Install
Mounting on sheet metal brackets: The components are mounted on the sheet metal brackets together with the plastic insulators. Brackets provide structural support and protection for the components. Components and insulators are firmly fixed to the carrier to ensure stability during operation.
Mount on DIN rail: The sheet metal bracket (on which the components and insulators are mounted) is then mounted on the DIN rail. DIN rails are commonly used in industrial environments as a standardized method for installing control and automation components. DIN rails ensure safe and standardized installation of components.
In the cabinet: In some cases, circuit boards and insulator assemblies can be mounted on sheet metal assemblies and bolted to the cabinet. This approach allows for a more organized and compact installation within the cabinet, facilitating access to and maintenance of components.
Wiring connections: The connection to the component is usually done by connecting directly to two sets of 48 wiring terminals. 18 AWG wires are commonly used for these connections. The upper terminal group (called TB1) is connected to the relay portion of the board, while the lower terminal group TB2 is connected to the contact input circuit. These terminals provide a secure and reliable connection for necessary wiring.
Screw allocation and shield terminating: Screw allocation for both sets of terminals (TB1 and TB2) is the same as screw allocation on the relay board and contact input terminal board. This standardization ensures consistency and ease of installation. In addition, when using shielded cables, the shielding layer should be properly terminated using its own bracket or ground point to maintain proper grounding and minimize electromagnetic interference.
