The IS230TNPAH2A is an analog input module developed by GE. It is part of the Mark VIe control system. This module provides basic analog input functions that allow the system to receive and process external signals for monitoring and control.

The 16-bit resolution ensures fine-grained measurement capabilities, enabling the system to accurately capture subtle changes in the input signal.
Input signal configuration: Each input channel can be configured individually to accept signals in the ±5 V or ±10 V scale range, depending on the specific input configuration requirements. This configurable scaling capability enhances versatility and adaptability to a wide range of input signal types and amplitudes.

Current input load resistor: When configured as a current input, the terminal board integrates a 250 ohm load resistor. The resistor ensures proper signal conditioning, producing a 5 V signal with a 20 mA current input. By providing the necessary impedance matching, load resistors optimize signal integrity and fidelity in current input applications.
Passive low-pass filter network: The input signal is initially processed through a network of passive low-pass filters integrated into the analog input portion.
