The IS400JPDHG1A is a high-density switchboard manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VIe family used in distributed control management systems.
The High Density Power Distribution (JPDH) board provides 28 V DC power to 24 Mark VIe I/O packages and 3 Ethernet switches via 28 V DC power.
Additional JPDH can be connected in a Daisy chain arrangement to power more I/O packets as needed. The circuit of each I/O packet connector is protected by a positive temperature coefficient fuse device.
JPDH is a 28 V DC switchboard. The board receives 28 V DC power from R, S, and T power supplies. It offers up to 24 28 V DC output connectors for I/O packages, 8 each for R, S, and T.
These outputs are protected by a positive temperature coefficient fuse. The JPDH board also provides three unprotected 28 V DC outputs for connection to R, S, and T Ethernet switches.
JPDH can also be used in Daisy chain mode to distribute 28 V DC power to more than 24 I/O packets.
Controls:
JPDH is designed to provide sufficient 28 V DC distribution for TMR I/O packages while taking up as little space as possible. Other JPDH can be connected in a Daisy chain arrangement using an unblown J1X connector.
The 6-pin J1 connector introduces three separate 28 V DC power supplies on three different pins for triple redundancy. The return current is common in TMR and Daisy chain feeds and is introduced on the remaining three pins.
JPDH has 24 identical output circuits that power individual I/O packets. The R, S, and T feeds feed eight circuits each. Each I/O package circuit includes a positive temperature coefficient fuse device for branch circuit protection. The board also has three identical unblown output circuits that power each Ethernet switch.
