The MTL838B-MBF is an analog multiplexer receiver from Eaton, part of the MTL830 family of products.
This product is mainly used to receive multiple analog signals from dangerous areas and transmit these signals to safe areas via the data highway.
It has the following characteristics:
State transmission of up to 32 analog inputs is supported, and each data highway consists of a simple pair of twisted pairs for transmission distances of up to 500 meters.
The receiver provides dual RS485 Modbus serial data output and supports Modbus ASCII or RTU protocols.
It can be configured through the PCS83 software to support thermocouple and RTD input configuration.
There are a variety of installation options, including installation in hazardous or safe areas.
