Use this procedure to prepare a multi-core (multi-core) signal cable for connection to the transmitter terminal. See Figure 9 for this process.

1. Peel off the outer sheath and aluminum foil cover. Place the outer shield lead flush with the edge of the sheath. The shield shall terminate in the transmitter housing without electrical contact.

2. Peel off the inner sheath and aluminum foil cover. Do not cut the inside shielding lead.

3. Strip the lead jacket. Do not cut the shield lead.

4. Use the insulating strips of the white and black leads with the special lugs (part number K0123CP) that come with the flow tube.
