The FBM242 discrete output interface module contains 16 discrete, excellent output channels, from the outside, rated current up to 2A at 60VDC. The associated terminal assembly (TA) provides discrete outputs for 2A loads at 60VDC, relay outputs (120V AC/125VDC or 240VAC), or relay outputs with distribution and fuses. Every good output is completely isolated from other channels and ground. This module connects the electrical output signal from the control processor to the field device. It performs digital I/O applications, supports ladder logic, and provides fail-safe configuration options for output.

The module can withstand a 600VAC potential applied for one minute between any channel and ground or between a given channel and any other channel without damage.
