The PXI-6527 is a 48-bit parallel isolated digital I/O interface designed for PCI and PXI systems. It features 24 optically isolated digital input channels and 24 solid-state relay output channels, capable of sensing digital levels up to 28 VDC and switching currents up to 120 mA. The PXI-6527’s channel-to-channel isolation between input and output channels helps protect the system from noise and spikes on the I/O signal and breaks the ground loop.

Key features of the PXI-6527 include:
24 optically isolated digital input channels, each with its own isolated ground reference, with a maximum input voltage of 28 VDC.
24 isolated solid-state relay digital output channels for switching voltages up to 60 VDC or 30 Vrms and currents up to 120 mA.
The digital input channel has 60 VDC isolation protection from the computer and between each channel.
The digital output channel has an overcurrent protection circuit built into the solid-state relay to prevent the transient current from exceeding the rated value.
A digital filtering function is provided to prevent transient noise or spikes on the input line from affecting the line state.
Supports message passing and change notification, allowing users to receive messages when the input line changes, thereby reducing CPU polling usage and improving efficiency.
The NI-DAQ driver simplifies device configuration and measurement tasks.

Applications of the PXI-6527 include:
Isolate computers from field devices.
Disconnect the ground loop.
High current digital output.
Sensing non-TTL DC signal.
Switching non-TTL AC or DC signals.
Detect changes on digital lines.
Drive current sensitive device.
Drive mechanical relays.

The operating temperature range is 0 to 55°C, the storage temperature range is -20 to 70°C, and the relative humidity is 10% to 90% non-condensing
