Up to 10 major devices can be controlled and visualized locally with REC650. This control is based on the select-before-operation principle,

ensuring safe operation and helping to avoid human error.

By selecting the Control screen as the default screen in REC650, you can quickly execute control commands

and see the most important measurements and position indications.

There are three pages of alarm indicators, each page consists of 15 dynamic three-color indicator leds.

These three-color leds can display the status of any binary input signal on the HMI of the REC650 IED.

The REC650’s advanced interlocking capabilities enable you to avoid dangerous or destructive switchgear operation and ensure personnel safety.

IED can perform secure bay and station wide interlocks with an easy-to-use booking feature. The reservation function prevents the equipment in the

substation from running at the same time and ensures that the interlock information is correct during operation.

Off-the-shelf, tested interlock modules can be used for almost any type of switchgear arrangement. REC650 IED utilizes GOOSE messaging

based on the IEC 61850 standard to perform horizontal communication and interlocking. This provides a cost-effective solution for interlocking.
