The REC670 1MRK002814-AB is a feeder protection device from ABB for power systems with a wide range of functions to control,

protect and monitor different types of intervals in the grid. The device is particularly suitable for use in control systems,

taking full advantage of its IEC61850-8-1 Ed 1 or Ed 2 station bus function to achieve full station interlocking through GOOSE messaging

and vertical client server MMS communication. In addition, the REC670 1MRK002814-AB also has redundant communication capabilities

and built-in Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) support for star or ring bus architectures.

The REC670 device can be adapted to all voltage levels and is suitable for the control of all devices in any type of switchgear arrangement.

It has a variety of protection features, including up to six instantaneous phase and ground overcurrent functions, four-step directional or non-directional

delay phase and ground overcurrent functions, thermal overload and frequency functions, two 2-step undervoltage and overvoltage functions,

and automatic reclosing functions. The unit is also equipped with a multi-display local Human Machine interface (HMI),

allowing the REC670 to be used to protect and control up to six intervals in the substation.
