REF 541 Feeder terminal
Used to protect, control, measure and monitor medium voltage power grids

The REF 541 feeder terminal can be used in combination with a variety of switching devices, including single bus, double bus and dual systems.

The protection function also supports various types of power grids, such as neutral ungrounded networks, arc suppression coil

grounded networks and partially grounded networks. Its application scope also covers

the protection and control of medium-sized three-phase asynchronous motors and reactive power compensation shunt capacitor banks.

In addition to protection, measurement, control, condition monitoring and general functions, the REF541 feeder terminal offers a large number

of PLC functions, which allows multiple automation and sequential logic control functions required for substation automation to be integrated in a single unit.

Data communication supports the following communication standards: SPA bus protocol, LON bus protocol, IEC 60870-5-103 protocol,

IEC 61850 supported by SPA-ZC 400, Profibus DPV1 supported by SPA-ZC 302 supported by DNP 3.0 and Modbus with upper layer devices

Communication protocol. In addition, the LON communication protocol combined with the PLC reduces the need for hard wiring between feeder terminals.
