Functional characteristics
Microprocessor: The VMIVME-7807 is based on the Pentium M processor family. The enhanced 1.1GHz and 1.6GHz Pentium M processors have 1 MB of L2 cache, while the 1.8GHz Pentium processors have 2 MB of high-density cache. The thermal characteristics offered by the Pentium M processor family are ideal for embedded systems operating at a variety of temperatures.
DRAM memory: The VMIVME-7807 supports DDRSDRAM, optionally ECC, and has a maximum memory capacity of 1.5 gigabytes. SDRAM is a two-port VME bus.
BIOS: The system and video BIOS are provided in programmable flash memory.
Ethernet Controller: The VMIVME-7807 uses an Intel 82551ER Ethernet controller to provide 10/100 Megabyte LAN connectivity. The front panel provides a standard RJ45 connector with a network status indicator.
