The module evaluates the digital input signal and provides it to the user program.
Safety functions are performed in accordance with SIL 3.
Reaction in case of failure
In case of failure, the module adopts a safe state and the assigned input variable transmits the initial value of the user program (default =0).
The initial value must be set to 0 to ensure that the input variable transmits the value 0 to the user program (in case of a failure).
This module will activate the error LED on the front panel.

Product introduction：
X-D164 01 Digital Input module for programmable electronic system (PES)HIMax.
The module can be inserted into any backplane slot except the slot reserved for the system bus module.
The module is used to evaluate up to 64 digital input signals. The digital input is current leakage current logic for 24 VDC signals, conforming to Class 3 standards specified in IEC 61131-2.
The module is TUV certified for safety-related applications up to SIL3 (IEC61508, IEC61511 and IEC62061), Directory 4(EN 954-1) and PLe(EN ISO 13849-1) for more information on the standard
