Once you have installed the Magelis XBT L1000 programming software on your PC and downloaded the required one-to-many application files, you are ready to transfer the application files to the Magelis XBTN410 HMI
Transmission procedure
Transfer software application files from the Magelis XBT L1000 programming software in your PC to the Magelis XBTN410 HMI:

Power the Magelis XBTN410 HMI.

Connect the PC 9-PIN Com1 port to the 25-pin data port on the HMI using the XBT Z915 programming cable. HMI LCD read:

“FIRMWARE VX.X WAITING FOR TRANSFER”

Start the Magelis XBT_L1000 programming software.

Close all subwindows in the programming software.

In the File menu, select Open. The Open dialog box appears.

In the Open dialog box, navigate to the one-to-many software application file with the.dop extension, and then click Open. The programming software will display the selected file.

In the Transfer menu, select Export.

If you are told that the Export command will corrupt an existing application, click OK to continue exporting. HMI LCD indicator:

DOWNLOAD IN PROGRESS, then DOWNLOAD COMPLETED

When the programming software reports “Transfer completed successfully,” click OK.
