First, it is the smallest IE5 energy efficient low-voltage industrial motor available today. Let’s make a comparison, to the current market circulation of the most IE3 energy efficient asynchronous motor for example, if the asynchronous machine to achieve IE5 then the volume will increase by 10% to 15%. If the permanent magnet motor design is used, the volume can be flat or reduced by 10%, but the flat line design of the MV33 is 25% to 40% less than the IE3 energy efficient asynchronous machine volume!
What are the benefits of volume reduction? To name a few.

A typical application scenario of industrial motors is to connect the gearbox through the coupling, the motor installation position is usually in the tail of the equipment, if the traditional IE3 asynchronous motor is replaced with MV33, to the commonly used 160kW, 1500 RPM motor as an example, the length of the entire equipment will be reduced by 385mm, significantly shorter. Can it be shorter on this basis? It’s okay. Since the flat wire motor in addition to the axial size is smaller, the outer diameter size is also smaller, you can turn the motor direction from the reverse installation, so the length of the entire equipment is shortened by 1700mm compared with the original structure, the original motor installation part is eliminated, the installation is flexible and convenient, and the space utilization of the end user is also greatly improved, these savings are real value to customers.
Look at another scene. The motor is usually connected to the load through the pulley, as can be seen from the figure, because the motor is too large, there is no way to achieve direct connection. However, if the MV33 motor is used, the motor can be placed on top and connected directly to the load through a coupling, eliminating the need for belt drive. By calculation, the high-efficiency motor itself can bring 1.7%~3.1% energy efficiency improvement, cancellation of belt drive energy efficiency will also increase 3%~8%, integrated, MV33 motor overall efficiency of 4.7%~11.1%. MV33 is a full system of high energy efficiency design, to meet IE5 and permanent magnet motor national standard level I energy efficiency, because IE5 and permanent magnet national standard level I energy efficiency on some power motor efficiency values are different, MV33 motor in the design of the two standards under the same specification of the highest energy efficiency value. In addition, the MV33 supports the expansion of IE6 energy efficiency, which reduces the loss of IE6 motors by 20% compared to IE5 motors.
