SR469-P1-HI-A1-E The first full process optimization business of electric hydrogen ammonia landed

SR469-P1-HI-A1-EWith the in-depth promotion of the “double carbon” goal, the current fields are actively exploring the next generation of green energy technology, as the “ultimate clean energy” in the 21st century, green hydrogen development ushered in a trillion-level tuyere. There is a close production and application relationship between green electricity and green hydrogen, so hydrogen, especially green hydrogen technology, has gradually entered the global decarbonization concept. However, the development of green hydrogen production and conversion into synthetic ammonia faces multiple challenges such as the volatility of green electricity, the economy, safety and reliability of green hydrogen, and it is urgent to break through technical barriers with innovation to provide strong support for the development of “zero carbon”.

Fu Xiaolong, vice president of Tsinghua Industrial Development Research Institute in Beijing and general manager of Mizuki Mingtuo, said: “The era of a new industrial system centered on new energy is coming. The deep application of new energy and its hydrogen energy carrier in the industrial system can well solve the problems of efficient use of new energy and decarbonization of the heavy industry system, but its development also faces global technical problems such as energy supply fluctuations and dynamic load changes brought by new energy to the SR469-P1-HI-A1-Enamic co-simulation project of electric hydrogen and ammonia, because we believe that Schneider Electric’s strong digital solution capability of power and process linkage can support us to break through technical difficulties. So we can work together to find solutions to the global climate problem.”

According to the agreement, Schneider Electric will use its rich experience in digital transformation in the field of energy management and automation, through the ETAP electric system digital twin platform and AVEVA process simulation software joint simulation engineering research, engineering and technical experts working scenario analysis services, etc., to realize the connection of power flow and process flow. Help Mizuki to plan reasonable system configuration and control strategy, including energy storage (electricity + hydrogen storage), so as to improve the safety, stability and economy of the system, and finally achieve green and sustainable development. In addition, based on its operational network resources in more than 130 countries around the world, advanced energy efficiency management technology, mature power and automation overall solutions, Schneider Electric will cooperate with Mizuki’s technology application capabilities and Mingto’s hydrogen energy Group’s hydrogen energy business capabilities to develop projects and overseas investment business. Jointly promote the continuous development of green hydrogen industry in China and even the world.

Frederic Godemel, global Executive vice president of Schneider Electric’s Systems aSR469-P1-HI-A1-End Services business, said: “The development and application of green hydrogen technology is of strategic importance in the context of the accelerated global energy transition and China’s ‘two-carbon’ goal. As an expert in the digital transformation of the global energy and power sector, Schneider Electric has continuously introduced green innovative products and total solutions for many years to promote the global energy transformation. This cooperation project is Schneider Electric’s first global process optimization business from green electricity to green hydrogen to green ammonia. Such a heavy project is the first to land in China, which not only explains the huge potential of China’s renewable energy industry, but also recognizes Schneider Electric’s cutting-edge exploration capabilities. In the future, we look forward to working with leading companies in the industry, including Mizuki Mingtuo, to explore more fields and provide more strong green momentum for low-carbon development in China and the world.”
