VMIVME-2210 Emerson, a leader in industrial software and technology, is now a supplier of integrated automation and project engineering for DG Fuels, helping the transportation industry advance decarbonization during the production of advanced biofuels.
Transport is responsible for more than 25% of global emissions. To address this, DG Fuels’ mandate is to “progressively” provide cellulosic sustainable aviation fuel on a large scale before rolling it out to renewable or green diesel. Its advanced conversion process, which produces fuel that can be used in existing aviation and automotive engines, yields three times more from biomass feed than conventional biofuel production processes.
