In industrial environments, distributed power distribution is a safety critical factor. How the solution provides added value to users can be clearly demonstrated by a concrete example. The following diagram simulates an automated production line. In this application, three-phase FIEPOS power supplies power sensors and controllers, such as industrial RFID modules, multiple sensors, I/O hosts and cell towers, as well as 24V actuators, valves, etc. Due to the complexity of the load composition, the FPT500.245-018-103 of the FIEPOS eFused series was selected for this purpose, which can provide a continuous output power of 600W and a short time (lasting 5 seconds) peak power of 1000W.
